The Holiday Lights contest was won this year by Chris Scullin at 11653 Pleasant Ridge with Bob Hart at 11598 Park Moss taking second place. If you drove down to the end of Pleasant Ridge, I think you'd agree with me that it was very impressive. Congratulations to the winner and thanks to Ed Oliveros for funding the prize money! The plan is to continue this as an annual event with more community input on the judging process.
The annual meeting for 2024 is currently scheduled for Sunday, May 19th 2024 at 6pm. I encourage every resident to attend. The best way for you concerns to be heard is to attend and be a part of the community process.
It's just about pool time! As has been said, "it takes a village", and this is true of our pool and community grounds. Towards that end, the annual cleanup day is scheduled for Saturday, May 18th at 9am. The more people that show up and help out, the better job we can do with making the area shine and get the task done quickly. If the weather is bad that day, we'll try again the next day, Sunday. The pool is scheduled to open on Saturday, May 25th. Please look in the April newsletter, due out soon, for additional information on pool access and rules.
